Automotive products manufactured by rotational molding.
Rotomolded wings
The rotomolding process for making fenders involves loading a hollow fender shape into a steel mold. The mold is then heated and slowly rotated on several axes while polyethylene powder is introduced.
Heat melts the polyethylene, and rotation evenly distributes the material throughout the mold, creating a strong, durable, seamless, one-piece fender.
Rotomolded fuel tanks
To manufacture fuel tanks by rotational molding, a specially designed mold filled with polyethylene powder is used.
The mold is heated and slowly rotated in several directions to evenly distribute the material within the mold.
After cooling, the fuel tank is removed from the mold and is ready for use in vehicles.
Rotomolded dashboards
The dashboards are manufactured using rotational molding using steel molds shaped to the desired dashboard. Polyethylene powder is loaded into the mold, which is then heated and rotated to distribute the material evenly.
Once cooled, the dashboard is removed from the mold, producing a strong and durable part that can be installed in the vehicle.
Rotomolded plastic body
The bodies are manufactured using a process similar to other rotational molding products. This technology allows for complex geometries, such as the bodies of recreational vehicles. The polyethylene powder is loaded into a steel mold shaped to form the desired body.
The mold is heated and rotated to evenly distribute the material, creating a lightweight, strong, zone-free body ideal for RVs, boats, and other equipment.
Plastic boxes
Housings are manufactured using rotational molding using molds that are shaped specifically for the desired housing, whether for headlights, exterior mirrors, or other components. The process involves loading the mold with polyethylene powder, heating and rotating the mold to evenly distribute the material, and then cooling the molded housing before removing it from the mold.
Plastic seats
The seats are manufactured using molds designed to replicate the shape and design of the desired seat.
Polyethylene powder is loaded into the mold, which is heated and rotated to evenly distribute the material.
After cooling, the seat is removed from the mold, producing a durable and comfortable piece that can be installed in vehicles.
